US smartphone users consumed an average 131.7 GB of data per month in Q1 2023. Wi-Fi networks continued account for over 85% of the total data traffic on smartphones. Notably, cellular data traffic dropped 5% from Q4 2022 due mainly to a seasonal shift observed among Verizon customers.
