NPD Connected Intelligence’s new Promotions Marketplace report is a monthly updated tracker providing insights into a wireless carrier and national distributor's promotional incentive practices. The report provides a detailed list of all promotional activities captured via NPD’s retail and online store visits conducted on a periodical basis. Captured promotions are categorized (i.e., service plan, accessories, device discounts, BOGOs, Gift Cards, etc.) and dated (start date/end date) for easy navigation and analysis purposes.

Mobile Device - September 2020
T-Mobile launched the latest versions of its white-label device, the Revvlry 4, 4+. This launch also includes a 5G version, the lowest priced 5G phone on the market.
Samsung also made some headlines with its Galaxy Z Fold 2 across the big three, but it is priced $50 higher than the first version.

This report features each carrier's service plans on smartphones and mobile broadband products in separate tabs, which provides sectional navigation to postpaid and prepaid plans. The data is gathered from multiple sources (online and retail store surveys) during the last week of each month.

Mobile Connectivity Report - May 2020
The Mobile Connectivity Report is based on consumer panel reporting, looking at attitudes towards connectivity preferences for smartphones, tablets and other mobile broadband devices. The report includes details of brand ownership, carrier market share, OEM and carrier churn analysis, device upgrade cycles, data consumption analysis, share of embedded devices and how the devices are being connected (directly, through tethering, or via mobile hotspots) as well as how much data goes through during the connection sessions.
